This notice explains what Suffolk Country Dog Training collects through this website, why, and what happens to it. It was last updated on 4 November 2026.

Who we are

Suffolk Country Dog Training is responsible for the information collected on this website (in data protection terms, the “controller”). You can contact us by email at kate@suffolkcountrydogtraining.co.uk, by phone on 07496 680338, or by post at Mill Lane, Thorpe Abbotts, IP21 4HZ.

What we collect through the forms

When you send an enquiry, we receive what you type into the form, so we can reply and help with what you’ve asked about:

  • Class enquiry: which class are you interested in, your name, email, phone, your dog's name, breed and age, which days and times usually suit you, anything else we should know.
  • One-to-one enquiry: what kind of session, your name, email, phone, your dog's name, breed and age, what would you like help with, which days and times usually suit you.
  • Sports enquiry: which sport, classes or one-to-one, your name, email, phone, your dog's name, breed and age, have you done any sport or gundog work before, which days and times usually suit you.
  • Contact: your name, email, phone, your message.

Your enquiry is sent to us by email, and we send you an email to confirm it arrived. We keep enquiries for as long as we need to reply, do the work you ask us to and keep a record of it, then delete them. The website also keeps a count of enquiries, with no personal details, so we can see how it’s doing.

No cookies, and counting visits

This website doesn’t use cookies, and doesn’t track you across other sites. To see how it’s used, we count visits with Fathom Analytics, which works without cookies. It counts visits, pages and where visitors came from in total, not individual people, and we use those totals only to improve the website.

To count a visit, your browser’s request (which includes details like your IP address) reaches Fathom’s servers, where it’s turned into an anonymous count. Fathom doesn’t keep your IP address or build a profile of you.

If you’d rather not be counted, use the button below. It remembers your choice in this browser, on this device.

Our reasons for using your information

  • Your enquiry: to reply and do what you ask, which is in both our interests (“legitimate interests”), or to take steps towards working together.
  • Counting visits: collecting statistics to improve the website, which the law allows without a cookie banner as long as we explain it, as here, and you can say no with the button above.

We don’t sell your information or use it for anything else.

Who helps us

  • Cloudflare hosts this website and receives the forms.
  • Resend delivers your enquiry to us by email, and your confirmation email to you.
  • Fathom Analytics counts visits, as above.
  • Suffolk Design built this website and looks after it for us.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit how we use it, or object to our using it. Email kate@suffolkcountrydogtraining.co.uk and we’ll sort it out.

If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.
