Puppy Classes
Getting a new puppy is an exciting time, its so important to set out the foundations for the way you want your puppy to behave for the rest of its life. Early training is a must, to save you having to undo unwanted learnt behaviours. A puppy class is a great way of setting the scene, with lots of great tips on the issues you may encounter in the early stages of your puppy’s life. It’s also an opportunity for your puppy to be introduced to other puppies in safe controlled way, so they gain that life experience without the drama. We run an initial six week course in which we will guide you through that early phase, with a focus on relationship, some do’s and don’ts and some engagement activities, to help you build the best bond with your new dog.
Puppy plus
This is the next stage of training, following on from the initial course, where we will start to delve into the slightly more formal training. Again like all of our training, it is based on having fun with your dog, building a strong relationship of trust. All our training is reward based, using both toy and food rewards. This course is six weeks long and will focus on recall, heelwork, target training and settling.
Adolescent classes
These classes are for dogs that are 8 months plus, we cater for on going training or if this is your starting point, we will tailor the class for that too. We focus on basic obedience and focus with structured activities that you and your dog will find engaging.
