Suffolk Country Dog Training
Hi, I’m Kate and dogs are a massive part of my life (I have five of them!). I’ve been a dog trainer for 7 years, having worked at a local dog training school offering group classes and behavioural 121s in that time.
I set up Suffolk Country Dog Training in part, to be able to offer and promote UK Dog Sports, in addition to general dog training and behaviour work.
I started my training career by completing an instructor’s course with one of the country’s Master Trainers. During my time with this mentor I expanded my experience and knowledge in a variety of obedience, sports and behaviour work, specialising in reactive dogs. Since then, I have continued my professional development with a level 4 Diploma in Advanced Canine Behaviour through the British College of Canine Studies.
My Services
Classes
I offer initial classes for puppies as well as puppy plus classes for that next stage of training. For dogs that are 8 months plus we offer adolescent classes that focus on basic obedience and focus with structured activities that you and your dog will find engaging.
1-2-1 Training
I offer courses of one-to-one sessions where I will work with you and your dog on a variety of areas depending on your requirements. The main areas I cover are Obedience, Behavioural & Sports. If you have a specific requirement then please let me know and I would be happy to discuss your requirements.
Sports Classes
We are pleased to be working with UK Dog Sport and can offer range of training covering competitive sport or more traditional past times such as scent work and gundogs.
Subscription Plan
Starting June 1st, we are moving to a subscription-based model to ensure continued high-quality training in our new indoor facility. For £45 per month, you get one class per week. If you miss your regular class, you can attend any suitable class (please notify us of changes). To cancel, notify us 2 weeks in advance via email at kate@suffolkcountrydogtraining.co.uk. Payment is due on the 1st of each month by standing order to Barclays, Sort Code: 20-17-20, Account Number: 60257923. New customers will start with a 6-week course before transitioning to the subscription model. We are committed to providing top-quality training at our training ground or barn, with reasonable notice for any location changes. We strive to be fair and accommodating in all situations.
